Beaches without dog restrictions

Old Hunstanton, Holme, Snettisham, Thornham, Brancaster Staithe, Heacham

Holkham (allowed off lead past the dunes)

Burnham Deepdale (Marshes where dogs can run free)

 

Beaches with dog restrictions

Hunstanton – dogs are not allowed on the beach between the cliffs and the power boat launch ramp between Good Friday and October 31st.

Brancaster – dogs are not allowed west of the golf club house between May and September.

Wells – dogs are only allowed onto the beach from the back of the car park over the dunes from the steps, beyond the beach huts. Dogs are banned from a 200-yard stretch of the beach between the beginning of May and the end of September.

On all the above beaches owners must clean up after their dogs and keep them under control.

 

Country Houses

Sandringham – Allowed on/off lead in the country park only.

Holkham – Allowed on lead in the deer park only.

Houghton – Allowed on lead in the country park only.

Blicking Hall – Allowed on lead in park only.

Oxborough Hall – Allowed in CAR PARK only.

 

Other Attractions

Titchwell RSPB – Dogs allowed on lead and under control in the reserve.

Castle Rising – Dogs allowed on lead.

Norfolk Lavender – Dogs allowed on lead, not in tea room or rare breeds centre.

Gooderstone Water Gardens – Dogs on lead with well behaved owners welcome!

Snettisham Park Trails –  Dogs on lead if animals about
